Authorities have identified and arrested Harry Burkhart, the man detained Monday as a potential suspect in the recent L.A. arson spree. Burkhart, 24, allegedly sparked more than 50 fires throughout the city, causing $2 million in damage, authorities said Monday. He will make his first court appearance on Wednesday. Police said Tuesday that they feel “very good” they have the right guy, but stress that they still have a long way to go and the investigation is ongoing. Law-enforcement sources say Burkhart is a native of Germany who has been in a dispute with immigration officials over his mother's possible deportation.
