Mitt Romney got awfully defensive last week when President Obama said "I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth." But was that comment even directed at Mitt? White House spokesman Jay Carney said the former Massachusetts governor was being "a little oversenstive" but Fox News host Steve Doocy admitted today that he—or his show—may have been responsible for that. When interviewing Romney last week, Doocy said, "[President Obama] had some fiery rhetoric pointed at you yesterday. He said, 'Unlike some people, I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth.'" Doocy confirmed Tuesday that that wasn't exactly what Obama had said.
