Now that the general election is officially underway, Mitt Romney is making moves. The Republican presidential nominee announced Monday that Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers will be his campaign's new point person in the House of Representatives. He also went a step further by naming a leader for his transition team to the White House. If Romney is elected, Mike Leavitt, former secretary of health and human services under President George W. Bush, will be in charge of “Project Ready”—taking the Presidential Transition Act’s 2010 amendment’s advice to get the transition process started earlier.
