In a series of attacks Sunday, bombers targeted worshipers at church services in Nigeria, killing at least three. Activists said an explosion rocked the Evangelical Church Winning All, a chapel in the city of Jos. Around the same time, a bomb went off at a Christian house of worship in the city of Biu, killing an usher. Witnesses said the strikes seemed to be the latest in a wave of violence launched by Boko Haram, a radical Islamist group whose name means “Western education is sacrilege.” According to The Associated Press, the group is responsible for more than 560 deaths resulting from attacks on churches and government buildings this year.
