A Washington, D.C., police officer who worked as a motorcycle escort for the White House and other officials is being investigated after being overheard making threatening remarks about Michelle Obama, police officials told The Washington Post on Wednesday. The officer has reportedly been moved to administrative duty. The motorman allegedly said on Wednesday morning that he would shoot the first lady, and used his phone to show what type of firearm he would use. It was not clear how many officers overheard the threat, and the U.S. Secret Service has been notified, sources said.
