Republicans say they’re serious about voter fraud, and this was a chance to prove it. The Republican National Committee has fired a consulting agency hired to register voters in seven swing states after allegations of voter fraud surfaced Thursday. The founder of the firm, Strategic Allied Consulting, has been linked to other groups that have been accused of illegal activity to help Republicans in the past. The current case revolves around a Florida worker and doesn’t show signs of voter suppression. A spokesman for the RNC says the organization has “zero tolerance” for voter fraud.
