Houston, we have company. China announced plans on Saturday to launch its Shenzhou 10 spacecraft in early June 2013, representing a huge step for a country that hopes to construct its own space station by 2020. The new shuttle is expected to carry three astronauts. The announcement comes on the heels of the successful launch of the Shenzhou 9 ship last June, which was China's fourth manned mission since 2003—and put its first woman in space.
