Beyoncé Lip-Syncing Reports Conflict

Because we won't rest until we know the truth about the queen of pop's alleged Inaugural Ball lip-syncing scandal, the rumors continue. CNN quoted an anonymous "inaugural official" as saying that she did not sing, but lip-synced over a pre-recorded version. Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal snagged an audio tape that sounds like Beyoncé is singing over her own voice. The Marine Band accompanying her originally said they pretended to play while she lip-synced, but later retracted the statement, saying they didn't know. When asked about the Beyoncé-gate, presidential spokesman Jay Carney told the White House press corps said he knew nothing and was "glad you guys are focused on the important issues of the day here."
