Karl Rove’s super PAC didn't wait for Ashley Judd to make a bid for the Senate before launching a mocking ad. The television spot, which will run for two weeks in Kentucky, is a parody of a Judd campaign ad that sarcastically lauds the actress for being a “radical Hollywood liberal” and knocks her for saying “Tennessee is home.” The ad concludes by calling Judd “an Obama-following, radical Hollywood liberal, who’s right at home in Tennessee. I mean Kentucky.” There has been speculation that Judd might run against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in 2014, but she hasn’t made any public statements on the matter. In December the Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling found Judd trailing McConnell by four points.
