Rumors of all the comings and goings at The View are enough to fill up the show’s entire “Hot Topics” segment. Despite widely circulated reports late last week saying that she was fired, Barbara Walters confirmed on Monday’s show that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is staying at The View. “We have no plans for Elisabeth to leave this show,” Walters said. “Elisabeth helps give the show perspective and balance.” Joy Behar, on the other hand, stated last week that she is leaving the program. Current reports have Brooke Shields and Ali Wentworth as potential replacements.
