Marco Rubio is reaching for that water bottle again. The Florida Republican senator, who is part of a bipartisan group tasked with writing immigration reform, issued a statement Sunday saying there is still “no agreement" and "reports that the bipartisan group of eight senators have agreed on a legislative proposal are premature.” But other members of the group were singing a slightly different tune. “I don’t think any of us expect there to be problems,” group leader Sen. Chuck Schumer told NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday. “Every major policy issue has been resolved,” the New York Democrat added. South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham told CNN's State of the Union: “I think we’ve got a deal,” which will probably be “rolled out next week.” Reuters said the group plans to unveil a bill in the week of April 8, when Congress returns from a two-week recess. The bill is expected to provide a path toward citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants.
