Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the 26-year-old Boston bombing suspect killed in a shootout with police, followed "radical Islam," according to fellow acquaintances from his mosque. Two worshipers who showed up for Saturday’s prayer service at the Cambridge mosque recalled seeing both Tsarnaev brothers at worship. Tamerlan, they said, was thrown out of the building about three months ago, after he stood up and shouted at the imam during a Friday prayer service. An unnamed foreign government contacted the FBI to in 2011 to say the now-deceased marathon bombing suspect “had changed drastically” since 2010 and that the Chechen immigrant planned to leave the U.S. “to join unspecified underground groups." Tamerlan's younger brother, also a suspect, is in a Boston hospital in serious condition.
