President Obama and all of his living predecessors gathered in Dallas, Thursday, to honor George W. Bush at the dedication of a 23-acre museum, policy institute, and library built in his name. Former first lady Laura Bush joked that "nothing says a good time" to heads of state like gathering together to look at a bunch of artifacts from someone else's time in office. W. looked serious—and near tears—as Laura recalled her husband's reaction to Hurricane Katrina and 9/11. Former presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton followed, showering Bush in admiration not only for his humanitarian work, but for his paintings as well. President Obama concluded the speeches, backing up those before him in honoring Bush. "What President Clinton said [of Bush] is absolutely true ... to know the man is to like the man."
