Lawyers for Robel Phillipos, 19, filed court documents on Saturday for his release, saying that he isn’t a flight risk and that he had nothing to do with the deadly attack on the Boston Marathon, which killed three and wounded more than 200 others. Phillipos has been charged with lying to investigators about visiting bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s dorm room on April 18. Two other men have been charged with conspiring to obstruct justice after they allegedly removed a laptop and backpack filled with fireworks from Dzhokhar’s room. Phillipos’s lawyers say he had not spoken to Dzhokhar since December and was at UMass on April 18 just by coincidence.
