Though the couple has not publicly confirmed that they’re expecting, local media has reported that they have a baby boy on the way via a surrogate. Prenatal sex tests are banned in India to prevent abortions of female fetuses motivated by a cultural preference for male heirs, and Indian officials are looking into reports about the actor’s alleged son. “We want to know the truth, and if it is true how [the gender] came out and who told it,” the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association said in its demand for an investigation. “Whoever is responsible must be punished.”
