Ten people were killed Sunday night when a floatplane crashed and burst into flames at the airport in Soldtona in Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula in the weekend’s second deadly aircraft disaster. No survivors were found, Soldtona officials said. The plane, operated by local air-taxi company Rediske Air, crashed at about 11:20 p.m. local time, and it’s still unclear if the aircraft was taking off or landing. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are expected to investigate.
