Bo Xilai, China’s former Communist Party boss accused of corruption and covering up the murder of a British businessman, said as his trial wound down on Monday that his only crime was being in love with his wife, who has already been convicted of murder. Chinese prosecutors said no leniency should be given to Bo, who they said showed no remorse. Bo, meanwhile, accused his wife of having an affair with his former second-in-command. Bo, 64, was once the head of the Communist Party in Chongqing, but now is expected to be found guilty of corruption, bribery, and a massive cover-up. His wife, Gu Kailai, has already been convicted of murder, and police chief Wang Lijun has been convicting of crimes relating to the alleged cover-up.
