Two 16-year-olds pleaded not guilty on charges in the robbery and beating death of 88-year-old WWII vet Delbert Belton on August 21 in a parking lot in Spokane, Washington. Demetrius Glenn and Kenan Adams-Kinard face charges of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery. Adams-Kinard's father offered his support outside the courtroom saying, “He's my son. I'm with him all the way." The teens had alleged in court on Tuesday that the beating was a result of a crack deal gone bad, an accusation the slain vet’s family denies.
