An American citizen was found hanging to death in an Egyptian jail, an embassy official confirmed on Sunday. The man, James Lunn, 66, apparently killed himself, embassy officials in Cairo said. Lunn was arrested in the Sinai peninsula on August 28 for breaking curfew, reportedly on his way to the Gaza Strip. A consular team from the embassy reportedly visited Henry at jail last week but declined to comment on what he was doing in Sinai, the most dangerous part of the country. Since former President Mohamed Morsi was ousted in June, Sinai has become increasingly more dangerous.
