SAC Capital is about to pay a record price for its misadventures in insider trading. The hedge fund settled with prosecutors, Thursday, agreeing to pay more than between $1.2 and $1.4 billion—the largest penalty ever imposed for insider trading. The FBI indicted SAC back in July, calling the fund, "a veritable magnet of market cheaters."
