Itzcoatl “Izzy” Ocampo, 25, the alleged "serial thrill-killer" of homeless men in Los Angeles, was pronounced dead on Thanksgiving afternoon, after being found sick in his jail cell. The ex-marine was arrested in January 2012 after he allegedly killed his fourth homeless victim outside a fast-food restaurant. According to the charges, Ocampo killed as a sick type of public service to end the scourge of homelessness, which he saw as a "blight" on his community. He was caught before he could meet his goal of 16 killings, but never faced trial. Itzcoatl's lawyer said on Friday that he died after ingesting Ajax in his cell.
