In an effort to further integrate (or force-feed) its social network Google+, Google has announced a new Gmail feature that will allow you to type anybody’s name in the “to” field and send them an email, regardless of whether you know the email address or not. Those who find this horrifying can changed the settings under “Email via Google+” and opt out by selecting “no one” in the category of those who can email you via the network.
