Seven decades after African-American George Stinney Jr. was put to death for the murders of two white girls at the age of 14, attorneys in South Carolina argued Tuesday that there is new evidence for a retrial. Recently, Stinney's former cell mate said teen told him police coerced him into a confession. "This is a horrific case," defense lawyer Steven McKenzie said.
