KISS' latest dispute over their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction performance confirms pretty much all of the stereotypes of rock stars as egocentric, petty, and uncompromising. The 40-year-old group couldn't agree on which members would play at the ceremony on April 10, so as a result, the band won't be playing at all. The band was stuck on whether original members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss would join Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley or whether the current lineup of Simmons, Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommmy Thayer would rock out. Frehley said "It's very frustrating. It's what the fans wanted, it's what the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame wanted, and it's not gonna happen. You don't want to do something for the fans after 40 years of them supporting you?"
