Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's bungled tweet about daylight savings time may not have been the most ridiculous tweet from a politician this weekend after all. Minnesota State Rep. Pat Garofalo tweeted Sunday that "Let's be honest, 70% of teams in NBA could fold tomorrow + nobody would notice a difference w/ possible exception of increase in streetcrime." While Garofalo claims the tweet was a reference to the NBA's high arrest rate, many people saw racist undertones in his remarks. Garofalo has found himself in other social-media snafus, particularly after he made fun of a man named Eric Pusey for his last name over Twitter.
