On Sunday, pro-Russian militants broke into an Odessa prison to free 67 of their fellow separatists who had been jailed after Friday's riots. They chanted “Russians won't abandon their own!” as they smashed windows and dismantled the gate to the facility. Friday's clash, which Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk accussed Russia of engineering, left 46 dead. As pro-Russian separatists continue to battle, Ukrainian officials made it clear that they would not halt their military efforts to reclaim the eastern region of the country.
