Snapchat may or may not be deleting your photos, according to the Federal Trade Commission. On Thursday, the FTC announced that the photo-sharing company settled federal charges that it collected address book information without consent, deceived users about photos disappearing, and allowed video messages to be stored. The FTC declared Snapchat's promise of disappearing photos was "false," and said the company will have to implement an in-depth privacy program—and be monitored for 20 years.
