One would think that pro-Russian rebels shooting down a plane and killing 49 Ukrainians would escalate geopolitical tensions to its maximum. However, it turns out nothing strains diplomacy like calling a premiere a dickhead. Ukrainian foreign minister Andriy Deshchytsia has apparently started a minor international crisis because he called Vladimir Putin "Putin khuilo,” which translates to “dickhead” or “f***er.” Even though Deshchytsia made the remark in the context of trying to calm Ukrainian protestors from storming the Russian embassy on Saturday, Putin and co. are taking tremendous umbrage. Top Russian official Alexei Pushkov played the victim card really well, calling for Ukraine to fire Deshchytsia. Because Russia is the paradigm of cool-headed diplomacy, Pushkov added, "I can't really imagine how anyone, especially a Russian representative, can sit down at the negotiating table with him after such an outburst."
