Charlie Rangel has managed to eek out a win in Tuesday’s tight Democratic primary for New York’s 13th Congressional district. The 84-year-old “Lion of Lenox” defeated state senator Adriano Espaillat, who he also faced in another close race in 2012. Despite his history of ethics violations—he was found guilty of 11 in 2010—Rangel now looks like he will be headed towards his 23rd term in Congress.
