The Peace Corps is temporarily evacuating its volunteers from Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone due to concerns over the spreading Ebola virus. Each of those countries has more than 100 Peace Corps volunteers stationed there. Two volunteers have already been isolated due to "contact with an individual who later died of the Ebola virus," said a Peace Corps spokeswoman. However, there are not currently showing signs of illness. Three Americans have contracted Ebola, and one, Patrick Sawyer, has died from it. More than 600 people have died during the current Ebola outbreak.
