Three Navy F-18 fighter planes dropped more shipments of food and water to the tens of thousands of Yazidi refugees on Sinjar Mountain early Saturday morning. The refugees, part of a religious minority under threat from ISIS, received more than 28,000 meals ready to eat and 1,500 gallons of water. The airdrop was the second in two days from the U.S. and came the day after Navy warplanes and Predator drones carried out air strikes on artillery equipment and ISIS fighters.
