The Steubenville rape case already proved athletic prowess could trump criminal behavior—now the Ohio town’s football community is rubbing it in. One of the two teens convicted in March 2013 of raping a 16-year-old girl is now back on the high-school football team’s roster, according to a local news report. Ma’Lik Richmond, now 18, was released from a juvenile detention center in January, and will be required to register as a sex offender every 180 days for the next 20 years. “At this point, Ma’Lik wants most to be a high-school teenager,” his lawyer wrote in a statement after his release.
