State Judge Edward Rubin has ruled that Louisiana’s gay marriage ban is unconstitutional on Monday, reports KLFY News. According to Rubin it violates the due process clause and the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment, as well as the full faith and credit clause of the constitution. The couple in the case, Angela M. Constanza and Chasity S. Brewer, had obtained a marriage certificate in California, but the state’s ban did not recognize certificates from other states.
