On Monday, Wesleyan University announced its residential fraternities will be forced to admit women and become "fully co-educational" over the next three years. The announcement from the school president and board of trustees came after two lawsuits that alleged rape in residential fraternity houses. A university spokeswoman said, however, "this is a change that Wesleyan has been thinking about for years" and argued it was not directly linked to any particular incidents.
