Michael Dunn was found guilty of first-degree murder in his retrial for the shooting death of 17-year-old Jordan Davis. After less than six hours of deliberation, the jury convicted him on Wednesday. In 2012, Dunn, a 47-year-old white male, fired on a vehicle containing Jordan, who is black, and his friends. It was precipitated by a disagreement over whether the teens were playing music too loudly in the parking lot of a Jacksonville convenience store. Dunn claimed he saw Davis reach down for a gun. "At that point, I put my window down to look at that direction and, yes, I saw a very angry-looking young man," said Dunn at the trial on Tuesday. The first jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on the first-degree murder charge, but convicted him of three other attempted-murder charges. Dunn was already facing 60 years in prison for those convictions.
