Federal officials said Monday that they arrested Mohammed Hamza Khan at O’Hare International Airport over the weekend because he was allegedly trying to go abroad to support terrorism and ISIS. Khan is accused of planning to meet his contact with the group in Istanbul, and then get taken to either Iraq or Syria. According to agents, Khan admitted to them that he thought his job there would be “some type of public service, a police force, humanitarian work, or a combat role.”
