It's the end of an era for a British rocker who loved the Alamo. On Tuesday, Phil Collins donated his collection of more than 200 Alamo relics to the state of Texas. His assortment from the 1836 battle includes Davy Crockett's rifles and a Jim Bowie knife. A full exhibit of the artifacts won't be displayed until next year. “While others were collecting fancy cars, I was collecting these things,” said Collins, who has held a fascination with the Alamo since he was a child.
