A massive mudslide triggered by monsoon rains on Wednesday has left more than 250 people missing and at least 10 dead. It wiped out more than 100 homes of tea garden workers at a tea estate 218 kilometers from the capital, Colombo. Multiple highways have also had sections washed away by the rain. The region is famous for its Ceylon tea.
