Two Bronx middle-schoolers ages 13 and 14 have been charged with raping and sexually abusing two sixth-grade girls in their school's auditorium, the Daily News reports. The girls were in the auditorium at Junior High School 145/the Arturo Toscanini School in Claremont when the suspects attacked them, according to a school source and police. School administrators didn't search for the girls, who had a reputation for cutting classes, when they didn't return from lunch, the school source said. The girls later reported the attack to their parents, who called authorities. Police investigated and charged the 13-year-old boy with first-degree rape, and the 14-year-old with committing a criminal sex act, officials said. Both have been charged as juveniles and their names were not released.
