French President Francois Hollande gave a brief but defiant address in response to the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo that killed at least 12 people. “Nothing can divide us, nothing can separate us,” he said. "We will win. Nothing will make us renounce our determination. Long live the republic. Long live France." Thursday has been declared a national day of mourning.
