A spokesman for Mississippi Representative Alan Nunnelee said Friday that doctors have discovered a new tumor in the congressman and no further medical treatment is possible. Nunnelee, a Republican, suffered a stroke in June while surgeons were removing a brain tumor. Last December he was hospitalized for bleeding in his left leg. He was too ill to be present for his third swearing in in Washington, so a federal judge administered his oath of office while he was hospitalized.
