Pirate Brandishes Knife at ‘Pirates’ Set

This pirate may be forced to walk the plank for threatening a security guard with a knife on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, according to Australian authorities. A man dressed in Jack Sparrow regalia, equipped with a parrot on his shoulder (which may or may not have been alive), brandished the knife when he was refused entry to the Queensland set on Tuesday. The man fled the scene, according to investigators, who believe he hid in a nearby shopping center. Police say officers and sniffer dogs were combing the area around the film set to track down the pirate on the run. The fifth movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean series began production in Queensland last month.
