The State Department is shutting down significant parts of its unclassified email system as it tries to get rid of mal-ware believed to have been inserted by Russian hackers. The hacking of the State Department’s email system, dubbed by investigators the “worst ever” has caused problems for the agency for the past year. The hackers are believed to also have hit the White House and other agencies.
