Police said at least 10 people were killed and dozens injured in a stampede during a Hindu religious bathing ritual in Bangladesh on Friday. Thousands gathered for the annual ritual in Langalbandh, a Hindu pilgrimage spot about 12 miles southeast of the capital city Dhaka. But the stampede didn't deter devotees from finishing the ritual, which continued after police helped the injured, according to Local police chief Mazrul Islam. The motive for the stampede was not immediately clear.
