Arizona governor Doug Ducey signed a bill on Monday that requires providers to tell women undergoing drug-induced abortions that the procedure is reversible. The bill also stops women from purchasing health care plans in the federal marketplace that provide coverage for abortion. Ducey said in a statement that the "legislation provides clarity to state law" in order to ensure taxpayer dollars don't fund abortions. Critics say that science does not back up the information that abortion providers must now tell patients.
