A Singaporean teenager was charged Tuesday for a video in which he criticized Christianity and the state’s first prime minister, Lee Kuan Yew. The 16-year-old YouTube celeb was detained after the late leader’s funeral Sunday, and is being held on $14,500 bail in part over a video calling Lee “a horrible person” and an authoritarian leader. Lee, who silenced opponents while shepherding economic growth, was popular in Singapore. More than 20 people filed police reports about the short video.
