Kentucky has become just the fourth unbeaten team to lose in National Semifinals for men’s college basketball, and the first to do so since UNLV in 1991. The Wildcats were beaten 71-64 to Wisconsin. Kentucky entered the game 38-0 for the season. This is Wisconsin’s second title game appearance in the team’s history. The game was tied at 60 with less than two minutes in the game, when San “Dagger” Dekker hit a three-pointer, then turned around and took a charge that forced a Kentucky turnover.
