Some much-needed rain provided a trickle of water to California on Sunday, as the state battles a historic drought. The central coast and valley are expected to get an inch of rain while the Los Angeles area will get a half an inch. The Sierra Nevada mountains may get as much as 10 inches of snow, which will help replenish the snowpack that provides water to the region.
