A Wisconsin state board has passed a measure banning its employees from working on global warming issues while they’re on the clock. Republican State Treasurer Matt Adamcyzk introduced the ban because he believes Tia Nelson, Executive Secretary of the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands and daughter of the founder of Earth Day, spent time at work working on global warming issues. By way of explanation, Adamcyzk said global warming has nothing to do with the board’s work.
