Militants in Egypt's Sinai Province bombed security forces outside a police station in El-Arish and attacked an armored vehicle near the northern town of Sheikh Zuweid on Sunday, killing at least 14 people and wounding dozens, according to officials. The militants from the Sinai Province group, who are affiliated to the Islamic State, claimed the attacks. A bomb exploded outside police barracks, leaving eight people dead and 45 others injured. Earlier in the day a roadside bomb hit an army vehicle and killed an officer, a sergeant and four soldiers. The group has carried out hundreds of deadly attacks on the Sinai Peninsula, with Sunday's attacks bring this month's death toll to at least 41.
